About the Position
Grand Home Health Services is seeking licensed Speech-Language Pathologists to provide early intervention speech and language therapy services for preschool-aged children with developmental delays.
The SLP supports children in developing communication, language comprehension, articulation, social communication, and feeding/oral motor skills in accordance with the child’s IEP.
Position Responsibilities
• Conduct speech and language evaluations
• Develop and implement therapy plans aligned with IEP goals
• Provide therapy addressing communication, articulation, language development, and social communication
• Support use of AAC devices and alternative communication strategies when needed
• Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and families
• Monitor child progress and adjust interventions
• Maintain documentation in approved systems such as Sprout
• Participate in educational team collaboration
Minimum Qualifications
• Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Current Pennsylvania SLP License
• ASHA CCC-SLP certification preferred
• Pediatric or early intervention experience preferred
Required Pennsylvania Clearances
• Pennsylvania State Police Criminal Record Check (Act 34)
• Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Clearance (Act 33)
• FBI Fingerprint Clearance (Act 114)
• Act 168 Employment History Review
• TB screening if required
Required Training
• Act 126 Child Abuse Recognition Training
• Praesidium Abuse Prevention Training
• FERPA Confidentiality Training (annual)
• Elwyn Physical Safety Management Training
• Participation in RMTS when selected
CompensationStarting pay is $80.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
