About the Position
Grand Home Health Services is seeking licensed Occupational Therapists to provide early intervention therapy services for preschool-aged children with developmental delays or disabilities.
The Occupational Therapist supports children in developing fine motor skills, sensory regulation, adaptive functioning, and independence in daily activities in accordance with the child’s Individualized Education Program (IEP).
Services are typically delivered in preschool classrooms, childcare centers, and early learning environments.
Position Responsibilities
• Conduct occupational therapy evaluations and assessments
• Develop and implement therapy plans aligned with the IEP
• Address fine motor development, sensory processing, and self-help skills
• Provide therapy sessions in natural learning environments
• Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and families
• Recommend adaptive equipment or environmental supports when appropriate
• Monitor and document child progress and outcomes
• Maintain documentation in approved systems such as Sprout
• Participate in educational team collaboration and IEP planning
• Maintain compliance with all FERPA confidentiality requirements
Minimum Qualifications
• Master’s or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy
• Current Pennsylvania Occupational Therapy License
• NBCOT certification preferred
• Pediatric or early intervention experience preferred
Required Pennsylvania Clearances
• Pennsylvania State Police Criminal Record Check (Act 34)
• Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Clearance (Act 33)
• FBI Fingerprint Clearance (Act 114) when required
• Act 168 Employment History Review
• TB screening if required by placement
Required Training
• Act 126 Child Abuse Recognition Training
• Praesidium Abuse Prevention Training
• FERPA Confidentiality Training (annual)
• Elwyn Physical Safety Management Training
• Participation in RMTS when selected
CompensationStarting pay is $65.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
