About the Position
Grand Home Health Services is seeking reliable and compassionate Caregivers to provide non-skilled home care services to clients in their homes.
Caregivers assist with daily activities and provide essential support to improve the client’s quality of life, safety, and independence.
Position Responsibilities
• Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Assist with meal preparation and light housekeeping
• Support mobility and transfers
• Monitor and report changes in client condition
• Maintain a safe and clean environment
• Follow the client’s care plan and agency guidelines
• Maintain professional communication with clients, families, and supervisors
• Document services provided as required
Minimum Qualifications
• High School Diploma or GED (preferred)
• Experience in caregiving or home care (preferred)
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions
• Reliable transportation (preferred depending on assignment)
Required Clearances and Training
All caregivers must complete the required credentials prior to providing services.
Pennsylvania Clearances
- Pennsylvania State Police Criminal Background Check (Act 34)
- Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Clearance (Act 33)
- FBI Fingerprint Clearance (Act 114) when required
- TB Screening (if required by client or program)
Required Training
- HIPAA Privacy and Confidentiality Training
- Infection Control Training
- CPR and First Aid Certification (required for certain cases and strongly preferred)
